A postcard to William Mary Schifferli at Innsbruck, from someone in Dornbirn possibly named Mayer - who may have been an in-law to William or related somehow. (There are Mayers in the family but Mayer is also a common name of this time and place.)

William at this time was sick with tuberculosis, and would soon return from school in early June 1908 to the family home in Buffalo NY to convalesce, but would pass away on 27-Jul-1908, a few months after this card was written.
