886 "Katie" to William Mary Schifferli 16-Apr-1908
A postcard from classmate “Katie” visiting Rome to William Mary Schifferli at Innsbruck.
William at this time was sick with tuberculosis, and would soon return from school in early June 1908 to the family home in Buffalo NY to convalesce, but would pass away on 27-Jul-1908, a few months after this card was written.
Rome, IV/16/08.
